Ages 10-14, our students are trained with scientific principles with elements of classical French, Italian, and Russian schools of ballet. Pre-pointe and Pointe work is introduced at specific stages of this program. Dancers will be invited into our pointe program when they have passed evaluation.

Our ballet program is based in the Vaganova method, and builds the foundation for all other forms of dance technique. Students are taught a full ballet class beginning at the barre and finishing in the center. Foundational movements and terminology is taught to provide a strong base for which to build upon in the coming levels. A ballet hip alignment belt and a terminology workbook is required. A Routine is developed for the Academy School Performance.
Students build skill level in all aspects of Intermediate Pointe work through such steps as échappés, soussus, relevés, bourrées, multiple types of pirouettes, chainés, piqué turns, hops sur les pointe, sissonne, and Ballonnés sur les pointe. In this manner, technical strength and aplomb continue their advancement to reach the advanced level of dancing sur les pointe.
Jazz & Contemporary Jazz has evolved and movement is taught which incorporates Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, and Ballet to create an eclectic mix for an innovative quality of movement and choreography. Material taught builds from Jazz 2 that is age appropriate and pushes the student's skill and technique into more complicated combinations, footwork, turns, and jumps.
Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an innovative body-conditioning and strengthening program that has been designed to enhance students' technique by focussing on training the muscle memory required in each exercise in all forms of dance. Lyrical dance combines techniques of classical ballet and modern dance with current forms of popular dance. Classes include warm up, isolations, stretches, across the floor progressions, and choreography combinations. These classes are for dancers who like precision and rhythm, physical challenges, and personal style and expression particularly with lyrically expressive songs. Exercises focus on increasing flexibility and strength, rhythms and isolation of body parts, and expressing personal style. A Routine is developed for the Academy School Performance.
Contemporary blends creative dance and artistry with athletic technique found in Jazz or Ballet. Classes integrate various traditional disciplines of modern dance foundations with current contemporary styles and fusion forms. These classes are for dancers who like creative challenges, connecting dance to other mediums, and physical challenges that require persistence and practice. Exercises focus on increasing flexibility and strength, total body connectivity, and creative problem solving.
Tap focuses on rhythms and patterns in footwork through proper technique, as well as personal style and producing clear sounds. Classes include a variety of tap styles from Broadway to Rhythm tap. These classes are for dancers who like rhythm, precision footwork, and creative styling. Exercises focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement. As students progress through each level curriculum will become increasingly more complex and intricate. A Routine is developed for the Academy School Performance.
Acro is a blend of classical dance technique with precision and acrobatic elements. This class is designed to promote strength, flexibility, and technique while safely mastering various levels of Acro elements. Ballet is a strong requirement for participation in this class.
Hip Hop dance refers to social or choreographed dance styles primarily danced to Hip Hop music or that have evolved as part of Hip Hop culture. This includes a wide range of styles notably breaking, locking, and popping. A Routine is developed for the Academy School Performance.
