Calling all local jazz line dancers!
Be part of a sparkling, big-city twist on a holiday classic. The Nutcracker City Lights is seeking dynamic jazz line dancers to light up the stage with clean lines, musicality, and showmanship.
Audition: Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 4:30 PM
Where: Monarch Academy of Dance (in-person)

Who We’re Looking For
Dancers with confident jazz technique and strong line-dance precision—clear timing, crisp formations, and stage presence. All adults and older teens welcome; all genders encouraged.
What to Expect
- Quick warm-up + across-the-floor combos for style and musicality
- A taught audition combo featuring synchronized lines and formations
- Short group run-throughs
What to Bring
- Jazz shoes or Musical Theater heels
- Comfortable form fitting dance wear (layers recommended)
- Water bottle and great energy
How to Prepare
Practice sharp transitions, and be ready to project confidence. We love clean lines, and unified shapes—bring your best “city lights” attitude.
